Free of charge. Lunch and tea will be provided.

The 5 Year Planning Workshop is designed to provide participants with a step-by-step approach to long-time planning. The workshop contains explanations about planning, how to go about making a plan and how to make a plan work. The goal of the workshop is to provide the organization with a means in which to grow and develop.

9:00 – 9:15 Meditation

9:15 – 9:30 Introductions

9:30 – 10:30 Why do long-term planning

10:30 – 10:45 Health Break

10:45 – 12:00 Defining your mission statement

12:00 – 1:00 Lunch

1:00 – 1:30 Support to your mission statement

1:30 – 2:45 Developing long-term goals

2:45 – 3:00 Health Break

3:00 – 4:00 Identifying tasks

4:00 – 4:45 Developing your action plan

4:45 – 5:00 Wrap-up

Facilitator’s Bio

Mitch Mitchell is a member of the Dallas Shambhala Meditation Center. He is a member of their council, serving as a co-resident director of Shambhala Training. He has been a member for over 5 years. He is also a Shambhala Guide and a kasung. Mitch just completed Warrior Assembly in July of 2006.

Outside of Shambhala, Mitch is an instructional designer for AT&T. He spends his time writing training programs for training and development of AT&T employees. He has been in the training and development industry for over 25 years.
