The life of the Buddha is an example for us of the path to full awakening and is as relevant today as it was 2500 years ago. In this class, we will read about and discuss the Buddha's life and teachings. We will discuss the development of the early sangha and the later spread of Buddhism. We will talk about what the life of the Buddha means for us now as we work towards enlightened society.
