Shrine Room Positions Training

Our Center is in need of more people to help staff the public sits. Would you be able to volunteer for one (or more) day/s a month? There are both hospitality and Shrine Room duties to be fulfilled each time the Center is open.

If you want to learn how to be an Umdze (timekeeper), Geko (hall/gate keeper) and/or Drummer please come to this gathering! This is a free class with no prerequisites!
Wednesday, April 25, 6pm - 8pm

You will learn how to open the shrines, how and when to hit the gong and the drum, as well as Shrine Room protocol and the symbolism of shrines and banners.
